Actor Shah Rukh Khan was born in Delhi, India, on November 2, 1965. He is well-known throughout the world for his commanding on-screen persona. Popularly referred to as SRK, which is an acronym for his complete name, he is considered a cultural icon and one of the greatest stars of Indian film. In Bollywood films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995) and "The Brave-Hearted Will Win the Bride" he plays the romantic hero in a way that is unparalleled. Two of his 2023 releases, Pathaan and Jawan (Soldier) are among the top ten highest-grossing Indian films ever. He is referred to as "King Khan" by his millions of fans worldwide.
After earning a bachelor's degree in economics from Hans Raj College University of Delhi in 1988 and starting a master's program at Jamia Millia Islamia in public communication, Khan left school to pursue a career in acting. When the Narcotics Control Bureau caught Khan's son Aryan in a narcotics sweep in 2021, Khan and his family had to deal with a time of intense personal turmoil. Shah Rukh Khan is renowned for his unique acting style, which includes his own line delivery and mannerisms.
